But be careful when comparing prices as, when you check any one internet site, you'll find that prices for seemingly identically graded GIA certified stones can vary by 20% !
Let's put that percentage into dollars.......
The price of a VS1 Clarity, F Color stone can vary by:
1 carat, $1,600,
2 carat, no kidding, $7,000,
2 carat, an amazing $17,000!
These amounts obviously make any comparison of the last 20% in price, just by comparing certificates, well, impossible. So, to start, it's really important that you don't just "Buy the Certificate". Instead, to understand where these huge variations in price come from, our recommendation (and method) is you use your own eyes and compare several GIA certified stones side-by-side. You're about to spend a lot of money on a piece of nature, see the differences for yourself.
